Achieving Through Music Study

In spring of 2005, Ms. Deborah Bradway, Director of Music in Schools Today’s Achieving through Music (AM) program, completed a longitudinal study of roughly 1,000students receiving therapeutic music intervention (TMI). Click here for the final report.

Music Integration Learning Environment (MILE) Study

During the course of this three-year longitudinal study, the student performance data was collected at three control schools, three MILE treatment schools, and one model MILE Laboratory School in the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD). Click here to read the final report.

‘MUST brings children the joys of music making, offering substantial teacher and artist training in curriculum integration, hand-tailoring programs to school needs, reaching over 28,000 pre-K 12 children and youth annually around the San Francisco Bay area and in Los Angeles. Each year, MUST builds long-term relationships with districts and schools serving low-income children. MUST networks community and educational resources to ensure the health of music education in the Bay Area. MUST provides a great variety and depth of programming, serving as the underpinning of all other music programs in the Bay Area.’
